Rising rookie group ILLIT scored their first entry into the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 with “Magnetic,” the lead single from their first Mini Album, 'SUPER REAL ME,' which was released on March 25.

According to the Billboard chart (dated April 9), “Magnetic” debuted on the Billboard Bubbling under Hot 100 at No. 2. Achieving a milestone feat in just 15 days since debut, the ‘youngest sibling’ and the latest girl group from BELIFT LAB (under HYBE LABELS) is taking global music charts by storm.

“Magnetic” slid into the top 10 spots on major charts with ease as it charted at No. 8 on Billboard Global 200 (April 13) and No. 10 on Spotify Daily Top Songs Global (April 9). As the buzzing quintet’s monthly listeners on Spotify surpassed the 6 million mark, ILLIT also hit No. 35 on Daily Top Songs USA (April 3), No. 80 on the UK Official Singles Chart (April 5) and No. 41 on Australia’s ARIA Singles Chart (April 8). In Korea, 'SUPER REAL ME' set a record as the best-selling debut album among female K-Pop artists by first-week sales, selling over 380,000 copies in 1 week.

The five-piece ensemble's rapid ascent comes as no surprise, with their rising global presence also evident on social media. The hashtag #illit has been viewed over 1.7 billion times on TikTok, while "Magnetic" has been featured in over 250,000 TikTok videos and 160,000 Instagram Reels videos within just two weeks since the single was released.

Consisting of five members – YUNAH, MINJU, MOKA, WONHEE, and IROHA – ILLIT was formed through the survival show 'R U Next?' in 2023, which chronicled the debut of HYBE LABELS’ next global girl group.

HYBE’s Chairman Bang Si Hyuk (“hitman” bang) took part in producing ILLIT’s debut album 'SUPER REAL ME,' along with teenage producers who contributed to the album’s authenticity as a portrayal of teenhood. The lead single, “Magnetic,” depicts the candid confidence of a teenage girl approaching her crush, with unpredictable melodies and the five members’ fresh vocals.
