tvN's popular variety show "Jinny's Kitchen" is gearing up for its second season, taking the cast and crew to the picturesque landscapes of Iceland for the upcoming episodes.
According to a Star News report, the team is scheduled to board a flight to Iceland early next week, with tight-lipped preparations underway to ensure the shooting goes smoothly. The cast is currently wrapping up other commitments to focus entirely on "Jinny's Kitchen" Season 2.
"Jinny's Kitchen," which stars Lee Seo-jin, who has transitioned from a manager in "Youn's Kitchen" to owning a small overseas snack bar, is a project helmed by Na Young-seok, a producer renowned for his golden touch in the variety show realm. The first season, which aired its finale in May last year, was set in Bacalar, Mexico, and featured a star-studded cast including Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yu-mi, Park Seo-joon, Choi Woo-shik, and BTS's V as interns, drawing significant viewer interest. Despite mixed reviews, the show managed to garner a viewership rating of 6-9% according to Nielsen Korea, based on paid households.
For its eagerly anticipated second season in Iceland, Lee Seo-jin, Jung Yu-mi, Park Seo-joon, and Choi Woo-shik are confirmed to return. Go Min-si will join the team, stepping in for BTS's V, who is currently fulfilling his military service obligations. Go Min-si is expected to bring a new dynamic to the group as the latest intern.
