Whee In's newest social media cover post has drawn speculation from fans about a possible collaboration with Alan Walker.
The honey-voiced singer delighted fans with a surprise cover of Alan Walker, Putri Ariani, and Peder Elias’ "Who I Am", posting the cover on all of her social media pages. This is a common practice for the singer, who enjoys posting covers of songs requested by her fans. However, this time, eagle-eyed fans raised suspicions when, less than 30 minutes after posting, the covered song received a like and a comment from a well-known account.
On the cover video posted to Instagram, fans quickly spotted that Norwegian DJ and producer Alan Walker had left a comment with 3 blue hearts under the idol's post. This immediately raised rumors and speculations of a possible collaboration between MAMAMOO's Wheein and the producer, especially since Walker has actively worked with other K-pop idols in the past.
Although nothing has yet been confirmed by either party, fans have noticed that the song's cover was posted not only on the idol's personal social media account but also on the L1ves official company social media accounts. This move has only increased speculations about a possible collaboration between the two.
Historically, the company rarely posts covers of their idols on their official company social media pages, opting more frequently for a simple Instagram story with a link to the cover on YouTube, if that. Adding fuel to the speculations, Wheein is known to be working on a new album and has at least one B track ready, which she performed during the Seoul leg of her world tour earlier this year.
Do you think we are about to get an announcement of a collaboration between MAMAMOO Wheein and Alan Walker in the upcoming weeks?
What genre of music would you like the two to collaborate on?

I want the full cover, it's so good! Her voice is magical. I'm not sure about the collab, tho. She did a lot of covers over the years. Some artists are reacted, but sadly nothing happened. I'm still waiting for the Kehlani collab.😅 BTW the other two people who were involved in the song reacted on their Insta story as well.
