On March 12 KST, it has been confirmed that actor Oh Dal Su will be appearing in the highly anticipated second season of the Netflix original series 'Squid Game'.
Previously, Oh Dal Su was entangled in 'MeToo' allegations in February 2018, where he strongly denied accusations of sexual harassment through his agency. However, amidst continued exposure by victim A and theater actor Eom on JTBC's 'Newsroom', Oh Dal Su eventually issued a lengthy apology, taking responsibility for the events.
Following the 'Me Too' controversy, Oh Dal Su withdrew from tvN's 'My Mister' and took a hiatus from the entertainment industry, living a secluded life farming on Geoje Island. In August 2019, the case's statute of limitations expired without formal investigation, leading to Oh Dal Su being found 'not guilty'. He resumed his career, appearing in various films and series such as 'Best Friend', 'Yoshichal', and 'I Want To Know Your Parents'.
Continuing his comeback, Oh Dal Su is set to star in the upcoming movie 'Veteran 2' and '4 PM', alongside completing filming for 'Squid Game' Season 2.
'Squid Game' Season 2, slated for release this year, picks up with Ki Hoon (Lee Jung Jae) returning with a new purpose after giving up on going to the United States in Season 1. The star-studded cast includes returning actors like Lee Byung Hun, Wi Ha Joon, and Gong Yoo, as well as new characters played by Im Siwan, Kang Ha Neul, and Park Gyu Young.
