On February 18, BLACKPINK's YouTube channel marked a new milestone in the music industry after surpassing 93 Million Subscribers (approximately 7 years and 8 months since the channel opened), becoming the first to achieve this among all the artists worldwide. BLACKPINK's YouTube channel is currently the 12th most-subscribed channel on all of YouTube. Additionally, Lisa and Jennie displayed their impact on their own merit by having their respective personal YouTube channels among the Top 10 most subscribed by Asian acts.
BLACKPINK's dominance on music platforms is undeniable as in recent years, their channel has become the Most Viewed Artist Channel in YouTube history, being the First Musical Artist on the platform to exceed 33 billion views, the only K-pop Artist to date to have surpassed the 34 Billion views mark.
During 2022, only Bad Bunny and BLACKPINK were the only artists who managed to overcome the barrier of 3 Billion views on YouTube, while in 2023, BLACKPINK had the most views on the platform for all K-pop Artists where their hit "Pink Venom" reigned as the most viewed music video by a K-pop group for both years (2022 & 2023). This is a sign of joy for fans since, despite the group's small discography, their songs are a mass success and remain valid every year, demonstrating incredible stability. If BLACKPINK continues like this, it could once again dominate on the platform during 2024.
Congratulations to BLACKPINK!
I don’t put much importance on subscribers and followers, guaranteed a good percentage of those accounts aren’t even legit.
