Lee Hyori expressed her affection for BLACKPINK's Jennie.

Just before the first episode of 'The Seasons - Lee Hyori's Red Carpet' aired on January 5, Lee Hyori attended the press conference for her new KBS 2TV talk show. During the press conference, Lee Hyori shared how excited she was to meet BLACKPINK's Jennie.

Lee Hyori shared, "I found out that one of the female juniors whom I wanted to meet was appearing as one of the first guests on the show." She added, "I was so excited that I couldn't sleep the night before."

Even during the filming of the episode on January 2, Lee Hyori couldn't hide her affection for Jennie. Lee Hyori introduced Jennie by saying, "She is someone who I wanted to invite the most in the world, the protagonist of this generation. I wanted to see her lovely smile too."
