ATTRAKT is proceeding with a lawsuit seeking compensation for damages against three former members of FIFTY FIFTY and those involved in the unfair termination of their exclusive contracts.
On December 19 KST, the ATTRAKT side stated, "We have filed a civil lawsuit seeking compensation for damages and penalties against the three former members of FIFTY FIFTY, Saena, Sio, and Aran, for their violation of exclusive contracts. We have also filed a lawsuit for compensation for damages resulting from their joint illegal acts against The Givers, Ahn Seong Il, Baek Jin Sil, and the parents of the three members who actively participated in the unfair termination of exclusive contracts."
The amount of damages and penalties calculated by ATTRAKT amounts to tens of billions of won. However, considering the possibility of further expansion of damages during the litigation process, it is known that the lawsuit was filed with explicit partial claims at the complaint submission stage.
Attorney Park Jae Hyun of the law firm Lee & Ko, representing this lawsuit, said, “We will do our best to carry out the lawsuit, keeping in mind that this lawsuit can be an important opportunity to establish a fair trade order in the entertainment field beyond simple recovery of damages.”
Imagine releasing an extremely viral song and now your legacy is a destroyed career.
I am glad to see they’re including the parents in this lawsuit. The girls are adults and should be held responsible for their decisions but they are young and their parents should have lead them better. They really should have listened to Keena when she tried to convince them to stop all of this.
