According to Spotify, the album's lead single "Standing Next to You" ranked #2 on the latest Daily Top Songs – Global chart released on November 3, accruing 6,472,019 streams overall. Pre-release single "Seven (feat. Latto)" reclaimed the #1 spot, and "3D (feat. Jack Harlow)" climbed to #7.
The other songs from the album also entered the chart, with "Hate You" at #16, "Yes or No" at #18, "Please Don't Change (feat. DJ Snake)" at #23, "Closer to You (feat. Major Lazer)" at #24, "Somebody" at #27, "Shot Glass of Tears" at #28, and "Too Sad to Dance" at #29.
Notably, the songs from 'Golden' were streamed a total of 39,653,740 times within a day of its release, setting a new record for the highest number of streams on the chart entry date for a K-pop solo artist's album.
Moreover, the K-pop group album with the highest number of streams on the chart entry date was BTS's anthology album 'Proof,' released last year (with over 47,565,917 streams). Jungkook has now proven his remarkable presence in the global music market, holding records both as part of BTS and as a solo artist.
