Soojin is reported to be halting her Korean promotions for her solo debut single 'AGASSY'.
According to insiders on November 10, Soojin is focusing on her promotions overseas and halting her Korean promotions for the time being. The former (G)I-DLE member recently made a comeback with 'AGASSY', and her label BRD Entertainment stated, "We have no scheduled music broadcast activities, and we'll communicate with fans mainly on social media or YouTube."
The label continued, "It's not that we aren’t completely not promoting at the moment. The fan signing event has already been held once and will continue in the future."
There's speculation the lack of promotions is due to Soojin's past school violence controversy. In the end, there was no evidence of Soojin as a school bully, and she was previously found 'not guilty' by the school's committee on school violence but rather was discovered to have been a victim of bullying herself. Soojin's contract with Cube Entertainment was also terminated in March of 2022, and she withdrew from (G)I-DLE.
After returning to the music industry, Soojin is expected to set up her schedule focusing on communication with fans. She also conducted her first Instagram live stream on the 8th.
