The newest SM Entertainment boy group RIIZE has been in the limelight ever since their debut. In preparation for their first comeback on October 27 at 6 PM KST, the boys sat down to spend some time with fans and had an intimate talk with them through Weverse Live.

During the live stream, RIIZE revealed to fans that they were given different options for their group name. The members explained, "The team names, we had two more, it was AND ONE or RIIZE, and there was a weird one...Big Dipper (북두칠성)."

The members explained, "The Big Dipper was because there's seven of us (like the seven bright stars in the constellation The Big Dipper)," and laughed. 

The alternate names triggered quite a reaction from Korean netizens, who were particularly amused by 'Big Dipper.' They flocked to an online community to share their comments, engaging in a lively discussion revolving around the unchosen group names.
