A major player in the K-pop industry is getting ready to embark on a global talent search!
On September 17 KST, MZMC Inc, Korea, a prominent music IP company, announced that they will be holding an audition event in Bangkok this October as part of their search for the next generation of K-pop talent.
The company is led by Paul Brian Thompson, also known as MZMC or MARZ, a hitmaking producer who is responsible for some of K-pop's most popular chart-topping singles, including EXO's "Ko Ko Bop," "Tempo," and "Love Shot," NCT's "Cherry Bomb," "We Go Up," and "The 7th Sense," Red Velvet's "Rookie," KANGDANIEL's "Paranoia," and more. While MZMC Inc, Korea previously focused on music production and publishing, they have since begun expanding into artist management and will begin with the upcoming debut of their first girl group.
Bangkok auditions will be held at True Icon Hall (ICONSIAM) on Saturday, October 7, with online pre-registration opening on September 20 through this link. Those wishing to audition must register in advance as walk-ins will not be permitted.
