Actress Park Yoo Na has recently parted ways with Bright Entertainment, citing the agency's deteriorating management as the reason for terminating her contract.
The decision came after she had been with the agency since 2019, ending her four-year association with them. Initially, her exclusive contract was set to continue until May 2024, but due to financial problems and difficulties in the company's management, both parties mutually agreed to end the contract.
Bright Entertainment has been facing challenges since March of this year, with the CEO being involved in embezzlement, leading to a provisional seizure of Bright Entertainment from investment company NewG Lab Pharma. This turmoil affected not only Park Yoo Na but also 15 other actors from the agency, who were verbally informed about the termination of their contracts.
The incident caused a delay in Park Yoo Na's settlement money, leading to emotional distress. However, the situation was eventually resolved when CEO Park Cheol Ok resigned, and the pressure from NewG Lab Pharma was lifted, enabling her to receive her overdue payment.
Among her achievements as an actress, Park Yoo Na has made a mark in the entertainment industry with notable performances in KBS' 2015 drama 'Cheer Up!', 'My ID is Gangnam Beauty,' 'SKY Castle,' 'Hotel Del Luna,' and 'True Beauty.'
Wow including her there is only 16 actors in the company so that means all actors in the company terminated their contracts. Hope everyone has received all payment while under the company
