Netizens are speculating the group name for SM Entertainment's upcoming boy group.
Following the media outlet report that SM Entertainment's new rookie boy group has entered the final stages of preparations for an early September debut, netizens have been speculating the group name for the upcoming boy group.
On July 22nd, netizens gathered evidence that supports the claim that the new boy group's name is going to be RIIZE, which stands for 'Rise and Realize.' They say SM Entertainment has applied for new trademarks under this name back in May and an Instagram account that uses the handle 'riize_official' has the SM Entertainment company email.
Netizens commented: "TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Twitter accounts under that name was created back in April. I think it's going to be the group name."
"I'm just happy it's not something atrocious like Kwangya Boys."
"I'm more surprised because it's so normal lol"
"Looking forward to the logo and teasers."
Meanwhile, it is known that the 7-member rookie boy group will consist of former NCT members Sungchan and Shotaro, S.M.ROOKIES members Eunseok and Seunghan, as well as three hidden members. This will mark SM Entertainment's first boy group launch in 7 years following NCT back in 2016.
Stay tuned until the group officially debuts.
