ATTRAKT CEO Jun Hong Joon erases all traces of FIFTY FIFTY from his personal social media

The recent actions of ATTRAKT CEO Jun Hong Joon, entangled in a legal battle with the group FIFTY, have caught netizens' attention.

CEO Jun appears to have meticulously erased all traces of FIFTY FIFTY from his personal social media accounts, leading to discussions among online communities like FMKorea and Theqoo. Many are speculating that the ATTRAKT CEO is cutting ties with the group.

A netizen shared a screenshot of the former CEO's account, stating, "CEO Jun deleted all posts related to FIFTY FIFTY from his Kakao Story and Instagram account." The photos revealed that CEO Jun's profile pictures on Kakao Story and Instagram have been replaced with Korean flag pictures, leaving no evidence of FIFTY FIFTY's presence on his social media platforms.

Another intriguing discovery is CEO Jun's Instagram ID, accompanied by the phrase 'galaxy_s23' in his account description. This detail attracted attention, especially after Lee Jin Ho, a former entertainment journalist turned YouTuber, revealed that CEO Jun recently shared a recorded phone call with a Warner Music Korea official concerning the copyright dispute over "Cupid." While revealing the recording, CEO Jun shared, "The phone call recording saved me," adding another layer of mystery to the situation.

Netizens are now expressing their opinions, suggesting that the ATTRAKT CEO, who had stood by the members of FIFTY FIFTY throughout various controversies, may have ultimately given up. This speculation arises following CEO Jun's public disclosure on the 26th of last month, claiming, "External forces attempted to poach the FIFTY FIFTY members, and it seems that both an outsourcing company and Warner Music Korea were involved in the incident." However, both Warner Music Korea and The Givers have denied these rumors as "unfounded."

Subsequently, the members of FIFTY FIFTY, through their legal representative, filed for a provisional injunction to terminate their exclusive contract, citing a loss of trust in the agency ATTRAKT due to settlement issues. FIFTY FIFTY's lawyer argues that ATTRAKT has violated its duty to provide settlement data, failed to manage the members' physical and mental well-being, and lacked the capacity to support their entertainment activities.

In response, ATTRAKT's legal representative countered, stating, "The lable have invested a total of 8 billion KRW so far. The CEO has put in all of his assets and even borrowed funds from his elderly mother." Furthermore, he defended the members, asserting, "The members have done nothing wrong. We also want to reach an agreement as soon as possible. However, we have no opportunity to communicate with them directly. Their agents are not providing any answers. The crux of this case lies in the forces influencing these young artists."
