On April 28 KST, Nam Joo Hyuk label Management SOOP released an official statement of response to recent allegations raised by a YouTube channel.
Earlier this week, one YouTube channel added fuel to the ongoing accusations of school bullying raised against Nam Joo Hyuk by a former classmate, ‘A’.
In relation to this, Management SOOP commented,
“We would like to deliver an official statement regarding the YouTube content posted on April 26 involving actor Nam Joo Hyuk.
First, we emphasize that the actor has no relation to or involvement in this alleged ‘sparring’ video shown on the YouTube channel. The actor never forced anyone to ‘spar’ nor did he act as a spectator in such occurrences.
The actor initially learned of the existence of this video during his first meeting with the informant which was held recently, and he watched the contents of the video himself. In no part of the video does the actor make an appearance, nor is there any mention of the actor at all. We find it unfortunate that the YouTube channel mentioned showed this video and made it seem as if the actor took part in the activities somehow.
The investigation surrounding the accusations of school bullying is ongoing. It is very difficult to prove by legal means that one did not commit an act he is accused of. We would like to ask that all attempts to publish one-sided content be restrained until the investigation concludes.

Meanwhile, Nam Joo Hyuk previously enlisted as a conscripted police officer on March 20, and will carry out his mandatory service duties for approximately a year and a half.

This is being looked at in the wrong way. The Accuser was in a fight but he called it "sparring" to keep himself out of trouble. He should have been suspended for fighting even if he didn't connect with his flying kick and fell on his ass, the ass.
Out of all the spectators present, shouting and laughing, he distinctly remembers and heard the one kid who now has a relatively successful acting career. 🙄 And he's labeling the actor a school bully because he was in the crowd watching the Accuser make an ass of himself.
The Accuser's problem really is seeing the actor on screen reminds him of how much an ass he was and probably still is since he hasn't accomplished anything in his own life.
