Who claimed the top spot in the thrilling finale of JTBC's 'PEAK TIME'?

It was VANNER who emerged as the ultimate champion of the 'PEAK TIME' competition after a fierce battle with MASC, securing the grand prize of 300 million KRW (~225,550 USD).

The much-awaited final episode of the JTBC idol competition show aired on April 19, revealing the ultimate winning group amongst the top 6 finalists - Team 7:00, Team 8:00, Team 11:00, Team 13:00, Team 20:00, and Team 24:00.

The stage was set ablaze as all 6 teams presented their outstanding live and stage performances, impressing the judges and leaving the audience in awe. The specially produced new song showcased each team's unique skills and strengths, adding to the overall thrill of the event.

As the tension-filled moment arrived, the final rankings were announced one by one, leaving the fans and families at the edge of their seats. Finally, the moment arrived as VANNER was declared the ultimate winner of the 'PEAK TIME' competition, achieving their well-deserved victory.

The final ranking was selected by adding up pre-global voting, real-time global voting, and real-time text voting. Sixth place was M.O.N.T. The members shared, “We are happy just to be able to stand here. I think it was possible that we were able to reach 6th place because of your support and everyone's help. Since this is the start, we will work hard to become a team that can go higher.”

BAE173 came in 5th and said, “We are really happy with being in 5th place. We are happy just being able to come this far and were able to happily perform. Thank you so much to the members who performed wonderfully until the finale. We will be the BAE173 that works harder.”

4th place was taken by DKB. DKB shared, “We are grateful just for being in the top 6, and we're really grateful to the fans who allowed us to be in the 4th place. From teams 1:00 to 24:00, judges, and the production team, we would like to say thank you for your hard work and for giving us good memories. we told our fans that we would become a singer that they would not be ashamed of, and I am proud that we have achieved that a little. In the future, we will become a DKB that works hard so you can be proud of us. We will use the 'Peak Time' as a stepping stone to becoming a DKB that soars higher.”

In third place was Team 24:00. Former BAP member Moon Jong Up shared, “I am grateful to the fans who allowed me to stand on stage until the end. It was not an easy challenge as each of the four of us came out as individuals, but we are grateful to 'Peak Time' for allowing us to shine without being ashamed. In the end, I was able to perform on stage with a wonderful song that senior Jay Park gave us, so it was like a dream while performing. We will become Team 24:00 that runs without rest, using this as a stepping stone.”

MASC, the runner-up on the show, also shared, “We thought it was a miracle to be able to compete with the talented VANNER as a candidate for the championship. There was not a single moment that was not a miracle. Whenever there is no certainty, the production crew believed in us and we are grateful. The fellow performers supported us, and the fans made this miracle happen. We think this is just the beginning. I would be grateful if everyone cheer for us in our new beginnings and give us courage as you did during our peak time. Thank you guys I was so happy to be with the teams here.”

The final winner was VANNER, and the team received 300 million KRW in prize money. They were also given an album release and global showcase privileges. VANNER stated, “Thank you so much for voting. Thank you so much to the 'Peak Time' producers. Not only us but other idols were all good. We ask that everyone shows all of them love. It really is an honor to feel like we were able to be filial sons to our parents. Thank you to our parents for waiting for so many years. We want to take this chance to thank them."
