Boy group BLITZERS shared their thoughts on their comeback as well as how their appearance on 'Peak Time' has helped them become stronger.
BLITZERS held a showcase to commemorate the release of their second single 'Macarena' in Seoul on the afternoon of April 24 KST. Their comeback comes about 9 months since their third mini-album 'WIN-DOW' released in July of last year.
BLITZERS expressed their thoughts on the comeback, saying, "We have high expectations as we prepared really hard. We're really proud."
BLITZERS appeared as Team 9 at JTBC's 'Peak Time', which recently ended, and made their faces known. Member Lutan said, "Up until now, I haven't had much to do with my seniors and colleagues, but I saw and felt a lot through this activity. As much as we were able to let our name be known, I think we'll be able to show off our charms as BLITZERS."
Jinhwa added, "I couldn't even talk to other colleagues, but it helped a lot with my mentality. It became an opportunity to become stronger."
When asked about their new album goal, they answered, “I want to win first place on music shows,” and “We're confident in both our performance and singing.” They also revealed their wish, "It's a song that contains the desire to be with people all over the world. We'd like it to appear on a travel program."
'Macarena' is a single that reinterprets the sensibility of the end of the Y2K century in BLITZERS' own style, and is full of their desire to spread a hopeful positive message and bursting energy to all people regardless of nationality, age, or gender. The title song of the same name, "Macarena", is a hip-house genre song that combines hip-hop and house.
BLITZERS' second single 'Macarena' was released on various music sites on April 24 at 6 PM KST.
