Yoo Yeon Seok's agency stated that they will continue to take stern legal action against the false accuser although the individual responsible apologized.

King Kong by Starship stated on March 22 that they will file a criminal lawsuit against the individual who accused Yoo Yeon Seok of allegedly abusing his power and being disrespectful to a security guard. 

After the agency expressed they will be taking legal action, the initial poster apologized and confessed they had fabricated the story out of jealousy. The netizen 'A' wrote on the online community, "I wrote the post out of jealousy because Yoo Yeon Seok was appearing often on various entertainment programs and was becoming popular."

The false accuser apologized and explained, "I didn't know this would blow up. I apologize to Yoo Yeon Seok. I never met him in person, but I think he is a considerate person with a good personality. I will not delete this post."

In response, King Kong by Starship posted an official statement saying, "We deeply regret this situation, and as previously mentioned, we plan to continue to file a criminal complaint against the poster for false facts and defamation without leniency."
