Actor Yoo Ah In, currently under investigation for habitual use of substances including propofol, marijuana, cocaine, and ketamine, has been dropped from season 2 of Netflix's 'Hellbound'.
The hit Netflix-original series, based off of webtoon of the same name, tells the story of religious sects which rise and compete for power after "unearthly beings" suddenly appear all over the country, condemning individuals to hell for their sinfulness. In season 1, Yoo Ah In played the role of Jung Jin Soo, the founding leader of the New Truth Society.
However, due to his controversial drug scandal, Yoo Ah In will be replaced by actor Kim Sung Chul in season 2 of 'Hellbound'. Kim Sung Cheol, known for 'Our Beloved Summer', 'Vincenzo', 'The Night Owl', and more.
Meanwhile, actor Yang Dong Geun and actress Moon Geun Young will be newly joining the cast in 'Hellbound 2' as new characters and new stories unfold. Familiar faces from season 1 including Kim Hyun Joo, Kim Shin Rok, Lee Dong Hee, and more are also set to return for season 2.
Things are going be extremely tough for him. He was exempted from military service because of a bone tumor only to be found doing drugs... I'm sorry but I don't expect to see him ever returning.
