BTS member j-hope's debut record 'Hope World' achieved a new milestone on Spotify!
On March 6, KST, j-hope's 'Hope World,' which features the title track "Daydream," now exceeded 500 million cumulative streams on the platform. Released on March 2, 2018, the rapper's debut mixtape hit the milestone 5 years after its release.
'Hope World' has become j-hope's first-ever album to hit 500 million Spotify streams. In addition, it has become the most-streamed solo debut record by a Korean solo artist to reach this milestone on the platform.
Meanwhile, j-hope recently came back with a new song with J. Cole, titled "On the Street"; it is a lo-fi hip-hop genre combining a soothing melody with J. Cole's signature, groovy rap, "On the Street" is meant to be a special gift to fans and music listeners as j-hope prepares to begin his mandatory military service in the coming months. The BTS member participated in both composing and writing the lyrics for the track.
Congratulations to j-hope!
