On November 30 KST, Hook Entertainment's CEO Kwon Jin Young released an apology statement, and stated that she will take full responsibility for Lee Seung Gi's unpaid music earnings, as well as other ongoing disputes related to the singer.
Below is CEO Kwon Jin Young's statement:
"This is Hook Entertainment's CEO Kwon Jin Young.
I lived as a manager for 25 years.
There have been many events, but I think I have never experienced anything as hard and difficult as this.
Whatever the situation is, I think responsibility should follow at the beginning and at the end of any dispute.
To Hook Entertainment, which I worked on creatinng for 25 years, and to all the celebrities managed by our company today, I hope to not cause any damage.
Once again, I'd like to bow my head to express my sincere apology.
In addition, I will lower myself to take full responsibility in the dispute with Lee Seung Gi.
I will not avoid taking the responsible actions necessary, and I will take responsibility using my personal assets.
To all the employees at Hook Entertainment, who were probably living in hell everyday because of the sudden incident, as well as to all those who were mentioned in the news articles that they didn't want to see, I would like to apologize."
They need to be audited by 2 teams external auditor that's hired by both parties and from the Ministry of Finance, this statement is her way to cover her crimes and trying to save herself and the management team from being dissolve by the shareholders.
