Being a successful fan means you get to work with the artist or celebrity that you were a fan of for a long time. In the Korean fandom culture, the word 'Sung Deok' means a successful fan who got the chance to work closely with the celebrity they were a fan of. Additionally, 'Sung Deok' can also mean that you got hired by a company that created the game you are a fan of. These fans garner much attention and envy from other fans. 

Meanwhile, there is a member of BTS who is truly a successful fan in all fields because he met with role models as well as becoming hired for the company for his favorite game. Recently, one fan created a post that listed all the successes Jin had as a fan. 

Many BTS fans are aware that Jin has been playing a game called 'Maple Story' since he was 12, and it is his favorite game. With BTS becoming globally popular, the group was given a chance to work with various brands, including Maple Story.

And on August 11, Maple Story revealed that Jin was accepted into the company as a rookie employee and got the chance to work with the designers of his favorite game.

Additionally, before Jin got recruited to be part of BTS, he dreamt of becoming an actor after watching Kim Nam Gil's acting. Jin even revealed in an interview that he previously dreamt of becoming a news reporter but changed his dream after watching Kim Nam Gil. Jin Explained, "In freshman year of high school, I dreamt of being a  newspaper reporter so I can help those in need in society. I read the editorial section of the newspaper every day. Then I dreamt of becoming an actor after seeing Kim Nam Gil in the drama 'Queen Seondeok'. I was so moved that I wanted to also act in a way to make people cry. So I went to college for acting. After 3 months of being admitted to school, I got recruited to Big Hit and became a trainee."

After being inspired by Kim Nam Gil to become an actor, Jin was able to meet his role model during the test screening of the film 'Emergency Declaration.' In fact, Jin was personally taken around by Kim Nam Gil to meet with all the other actors and the production team of the movie.

On top of that, Jin was able to meet with Coldplay after revealing they are the artists he admires the most. Jin previously revealed in an interview that Coldplay is the band he wants to collaborate with and admires the most.

Then last year, in 2021, BTS was given a chance to work with the British rock band on a collaboration single, "My Universe."

While collaborating with Coldplay, Jin was even given a special gift from Chris Martin. 

In the same way, BTS's Jin was able to meet with all the people he admired and became known as the most successful fan in the fandom world.
