On July 3, CJ ENM has announced that cable music channel Mnet's hip-hop survival program "Show Me The Money" will return in the second half of this year with its 11th season.
Since its first broadcast in 2012, the program ran once every year and it is also said that it has led the popularization of Korean hip-hop.
Last year's 10th season, has produced new faces in the hip hop scene such as winner Cho Gwang-il, as well as BE'O, Since, and Koonta. In addition, songs such as "Breathe," "Merry-Go-Round" and "Limousine" have also topped major music charts domestically.
This year's season 11 is a turning point to wrap up its 10-year history and marks the beginning of a new chapter. With the concept of "The New One," it heralds new missions and attractions that have not been seen in "Show Me the Money."
Cypher videos of rappers appearing in "Show Me the Money" will be released part by part during the recruitment period. Meanwhile applications for this season will be accepted till July 30.
