Hwang Bo says she went to Hong Kong to avoid getting married.
On the July 22nd episode of 'Cultwo Show', Hwang Bo revealed why she suddenly went to study abroad in Hong Kong, explaining, "I felt like there was a chance I'd get married. At the time, I had a boyfriend, and I was afraid he'd ask me to marry him."
She continued, "I told my boyfriend at the time, 'I do want to marry you, but after I get back.' I think that's what I said. I wanted to study more. I had only worked. I didn't have a life in my twenties, so I needed some freedom. I was only going to go for a month, but monthly rent was expensive."
Hwang Bo concluded, "I ended up staying a year and a half, and I was dumped."
