On May 1, the 8-hour special 'BTS Zanmai' aired on NHK radio, where they played the group's songs and discussed the members.

Renowned Japanese DJ & MC Furuyama Masayuki, who hosted BTS's official fan meetings in Japan, was also present at the radio show. 

DJ Furuya shared an anecdote of his experience meeting Taehyung when he hosted their 2019 "BTS 5th Muster: Magic Shop" fan meeting. At one moment during the event, he got up close to V when the idol leaned in and playfully teased him. 

His description of Taehyung smelling like flowers became a hot topic on the Japanese side of Twitter, causing 'Tete's sweat' and 'Flower scent' to trend. 

He also shared that Taehyung is special to him because of the way he goes out of his way to learn the Japanese language and create his own cute words to interact with the Japanese fans. 

On the same radio program, Japanese Pop singer Miu Sakamoto, daughter of famous singer Ryuichi Sakamoto, also covered V's solo song "Christmas Tree" and praised it as a "wonderful

song... conveying love, only love."

She previously praised V’s vocals in Christmas Tree as a “moving voice” on Twitter and posted a screenshot listening to the song on her Instagram story. V’s other compositions, “Sweet Night,” “Stigma,” and “Hold Me Tight,” were also played on the radio show.

Comedian Uchimura Teruyoshi, who was also part of the show, once again shared that Taehyung was his favorite member because of his cool expressions. He has shown love to V in the past. 

Japan is indeed 'TaeTaeland,' and Taehyung continues to win the hearts of Japanese fans and celebrities alike.
