On April 7, president Kim Chul Hyun of KT StudioGenie held a 'KT Group Media Day', announcing the group's plans for drama and variety productions for 2022. 

KT StudioGenie's first drama production set to air in 2022 is the series 'Can't Give Up', starring Highlight's Doojoon and Kwak Do Won. The series will be distributed via sky TV in South Korea, and via Netflix globally. 

In the latter half of 2022, StudioGenie will be showcasing a series adopted from a popular webtoon series, 'I Don't Feel Like Doing Anything'. Actors Lim Siwan and Seolhyun will be testing out their chemistry in the production, scheduled to premiere in November of this year. The story revolves around a 28-year old woman who declares one summer that she will take a break from everything in her life. The series will be directed by Lee Yoon Jung of 'Coffee Prince' and 'Cheese In The Trap'. 

Additionally, StudioGenie will be launching various drama and variety projects, including series slated for global streaming platforms, domestic streaming platforms, and more.
