Jimin is always in the spotlight for his exceptional skills in vocals and dance. Rookie idols look up to him as a role model and want to be just like him as they carve their career path, because of how much praise and admiration Jimin receives in the music industry as a performer. Dance professionals constantly marvel at his unique skills and technique and his ability to fuse different dance genres to create a signature style only distinctive to him, hence being the focal point of any performance or show. Other non-rookie idols, fans, celebrities of every kind, and the general public also constantly single him out and show their affection for him as an artist and as an individual. 

On January 19th, Kim Hyung-jun, a member of the SS501 boy band, specifically mentioned Jimin while talking about BTS, saying he likes Jimin.

The SS501 boy band made its debut in 2005 and was deemed to be among the top boy bands in its heyday. The group has never officially disbanded, but it has been inactive since June 2010 following the expiry of their exclusive contracts with DSP Media, and the members went their separate ways.

Jimin not only catches the attention of active idols, but even members of past top groups in K-pop acknowledge him as a star, which has seen him acquire the title of 'idol of idols.'

Not long ago, on January 13th, Jooan, the main vocalist and lead dancer from the newest boy band T.A.N, had an interview where he named Jimin as his role model. Jooan says that it is really cool to impress the public with dancing, singing, and facial expressions, which is what Jimin is known and praised for. Rookie idols always see him as a book from which to read for a successful career, hence his acquired title of 'rookies' bible.' 

He is also considered as a part of the Elite King Dance Line in K-pop, consisting of just three members deemed to be the best dancers in the industry, which shows how much he is admired and held in the highest regard when it comes to his craft [read here]. Dance professionals never cease to be amazed by Jimin's dancing, either. On January 11th, Kim Junkyung from the Korean national ballet posted a reaction video to one of Jimin's performances. With his experience as a long-time dancer, Junkyung said Jimin is really incredible and that he completely related to Jimin's dance while watching it because of how moving it was and said he wants to do it like Jimin.

It is not the first time that someone mentions the expressiveness of Jimin's dance, which makes the audience feel the emotions conveyed in the song and experience it in a new way altogether. Jimin is known as a 'dance king' and a 'dance god' for such exceptional skills in dance that other dancers may not possess.

Another instance of former idols paying attention to Jimin was seen on January 14th on a TV show for celebrity moms who were part of the first-generation idol groups. A conversation between one of the moms, Park Jung-ah from the group Jewelry, and her daughter, see Jimin being singled out again because of being pretty. 

Jimin attracts attention in everything, be it singing, dancing, his personality, and his perfect visuals.

Another celebrity, a singer and actress from Indonesia, also showed her love for Jimin in her YouTube videos regarding K-pop. She hugged Jimin's picture on the bed when Jimin appeared on the screen, evidently showing who is her favorite K-pop idol.

Among fans, the Philippines national newscast TV Patrol recently aired a report on the Super Typhoon that was experienced in the country just last month and how it affected people in the country. Aside from food and assistance in building houses after typhoon Odette hit last month, attention is now also being focused on the mental health of typhoon survivors, especially children. A clip from a local was featured in the report, and in the clip, the local shared how BTS has been helping her to cope with the situation. She further states that Jimin is her bias and even shows her Jimin wallpaper on her phone screen.

Jimin is not only known for his soothing vocals but also for his comforting words, so much so that even Italian media highlighted him as a source of comfort for many people around the world during a report on mental health [read here].
