On the 25th of December, the community of Musician Buddy Collaboration, which is known for gathering BUDDYs from all over the world to work on GFRIEND-related music projects, released a song dedicated to the members in a way of showing full support of their new careers following the group’s disbandment.

However, this song is only the main piece of an entire album, and it contains a total of five tracks: Intro (A New Beginning) and the title track We’ll Stay, which is available in four different versions; Global Version (which was just released), English Version, Orchestral Version, and Instrumental.

While Intro (A New Beginning) consists of an instrumental track only, We’ll Stay features the voices of BUDDYs from around 16 countries, and the Global Version of the song includes lyrics from each one of the vocalists’ native languages, such as Korean, Mandarin, English, French, Spanish and Tagalog.

The lyrics of We’ll Stay convey a message of unity between GFRIEND and BUDDY, where no matter the path each member takes, the fans will stay and light up their way as they take a step forward into their new starts—establishing this period as the beginning of a new chapter.

So far, the project has been praised due to the quality and effort that was put into it since it was entirely built up from scratch single-handedly by the fans.

The Global Version of We’ll Stay is now up on YouTube, and the complete album will be available on digital music platforms like Spotify and Apple Music by GFRIEND’s next debut anniversary on January 16, 2022.
