5. STAYC - ASAP

STAYC is a female sextet hailing from HighUp Entertainment, a company made by Black Eyed Pilseung, a producing duo who has produced for big names in the industry such as TWICE and APINK as well as smaller names such as Teen Top and Ruann. No wonder this release sounds very addictive!

4. DRIPPIN - Young Blood

DRIPPIN is Woollim Entertainment's newest group but many faces aren't new to the industry at all, 6 out of 7 members (Yunseong, Hyeop, Changuk, Dongyun, Minseo & Junho) all participated in the survival show Produce X 101. Junho even debuted in the final group, X1, who disbanded in January 2020. This release is very different from other boy groups that have 'loud noise music.'

3. SECRET NUMBER - Got That Boom

SECRET NUMBER debuted under VINE Entertainment as their second group. The group has gained lots of attention, especially in Indonesia due to having the first Indonesian idol, Dita, in the group. Jinny was a former YG Entertainment trainee and a rumored member of their girl group 'Pink Punk,' now known as BLACKPINK. She also participated in the survival competition show Produce 48. Léa, their Japanese member, was in a girl group named Skarf and also competed on the competition show MixNine. Denise was a former YG trainee similar to Jinny as well. Soodam was known online for her stunning visuals pre-debut. This song has an addictive hook and catchy chorus making listeners fall in love on first listen.

2. aespa - Next Level

aespa is from SM Entertainment, one of the biggest companies in Kpop history and the pioneers of Kpop. The group was teased for many years with many rumored floating around. Karina and Ningning even made appearances pre-debut which made fans even more curious for SM's new girl group debut. Many fans, non-fans, and even anti-fans tuned into the group's debut with 'Black Mamba' which helped the group break many records. Next Level is their first official comeback, when people found out that it would be a remake many were disappointed. Over time, however, many fell in love with it, especially how they put their own twist onto the song while still maintaining the catchiness of the original track. They even became the first fourth-generation group to reach #1 on MelOn's 24Hits Chart due to how much people loved the song.

1. LUNARSOLAR - DADADA

LUNARSOLAR is a 4 member vocal-based girl group from JPLANET Entertainment, which is known for having UNI.T member NC.A and disbanded boy group MASC in their company. Many of the members have participated in activities pre-debut, Taeryeong competed on the survival shows Produce101 and MixNine, Jian appeared on I Can See Your Voice 7 as well as being a contestant on The Unit and being a former member of girl group S.E.T, Yuuri was in the Japanese girl group I'S9 at the age of 13. The leader, Eseo, has no previous industry experience but makes up for it with her outstanding rapping, dancing, singing, composing, and writing skills. The group is often praised for their outstanding stage presence. All members have participated in acting in at least 1 drama and are praised for their acting skills.

DADADA showed multiple sides to the group such as their cute concept and their girl swag or 'girl crush' concept all in the same song and performances, especially with the onstage outfits. The song is carefully crafted and well thought out from the choreography, outfits, music video storyline, and more. The single album, SOLAR : rise, which goes along with the title track is even more solid. LUNARSOLAR seems like a promising rookie group that will cement their place in the industry via music, acting, variety, and even modeling.
