“Film Out” composed by Jungkook breaks “Dynamite” record as BTS’ highest debut sales on Oricon Daily Digital Songs Chart

BTS’s new Japanese OST “Film Out” co-composed by Jungkook keeps making and breaking huge records.
Itdebuts at #1 on Oricon Daily Digital Singles Chart with 23,344 downloads, becomes BTS’ biggest sales debut ever on the chart, surpassing “Dynamite” (13,985).
Besides Oricon, “Film Out” debuted #1 on iTunes Japan and had spent 2 full days at #1 on the chart. The OST also debuted at #1 on major Japanese charts; LINE Music, Recochoku and Mu-mo. It had spend 2 days at #1 on LINE Music Daily chart.
”Film out” ranks at #6 on Spotify Japan with 224,322 streams, becomes the Japanese song by a Korean act with the highest peak in daily streams on the platform, surpassing “Stay Gold.”
The OST is also thriving internationally. “Film Out” has reached #1 on iTunes in 98 countries including all 8 biggest music markets; United States, Japan, United Kingdom, Canada, Germany, France, Australia and the Netherlands.
On Spotify Global chart, “Film Out” climbed 29 spots from its previous placement and entered Top 20 at #19 with 2,614,128 streams. It recorded an increase of 1 million streams on its first full day of tracking!
Following the release of “Film Out,” Jungkook’s solo songs also received significant attention. ”Euphoria” was the only BTS solo song simultaneously charted on all three Japanese charts i.e. Spotify Japan, iTunes Japan and Apple Music Japan on the day “Film Out” was released.
Jungkook is the only BTS member to have two of his solo songs, “Euphoria” and “My Time” charting continuously for two days (01/04 and 02/04) on Spotify Korea. “Euphoria” is the highest charting BTS solo song for both days on Spotify Korea Top 200.
