Originally intended for Jungkook's mixtape, 'Your Eyes Tell' continues to reach new milestones proving its continuous popularity. The Japanese OST composed and written by Jungkook broke many significant records when it was first released, and Jungkook's genius composing and songwriting received countless praises.

Now 'Your Eyes Tell' has recently certified with Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ) "Silver Certification for Streaming" for surpassing 30 million streams, a massive figure for a B-side track of a BTS' Japanese album.

It had spend 17 weeks on Billboard Japan Hot 100 and 23 weeks on Billboard Japan Streaming Songs, that's a lot of charting weeks and it speaks volume of the song's longevity. The song also charted at #1 on iTunes in 115 countries.

'Your Eyes Tell' was released on July 14 in BTS' Japanese album Map Of The Soul: 7 - The Journey. It debuted at #8 on Billboard Japan Hot 100 and #1 on Billboard World Digital Song Sales. 

Before 'Dynamite' took over the throne, 'Your Eyes Tell' was the biggest streaming week debut on Oricon for a Korean act in history with 5.1 million streams, surpassing Stay Gold's (title track) highest streaming week of 2.7 million streams like a boss.

'Your Eyes Tell' also charted at #1 on iTunes Japan, managed to surpass the most popular Japanese singer and chart digimon Kenshi Yonezu's new song. It charted at #1 on popular Japanese charts i.e. LINE Music Daily and Real-time, Mora Daily and Real-time, also Recochoku Daily, which is harder for K-pop acts to infiltrate. The OST also debuted at #1 on Oricon Daily chart with 13,089 sales, which became BTS's highest debut sales on this chart.

'Your Eyes Tell' is also the first BTS song to top all 8 biggest music markets on iTunes and the fastest song by an Asian act to reach 100 #1's on iTunes.

The lead actor and actresses of 'Your Eyes Tell' movie Ryusei Yokohama and Yuriko Yoshitaka praised the OST. Yoshitaka said "The beautiful voice that comes straight into your heart gently. The song being in the movie has enhanced the attraction greatly, I once again realized that the power of song is indeed great."

Yokohama then praised Jungkook's songwriting, saying "The lyrics are, in a great part, in the perspective of ‘Rui’ so they touched my heart immensely. I think the song got very close to the world view of the movie.”

From his sophisticated production in 'Still With You,' 'Magic Shop' and 'Love Is Not Over' to his brilliant composition and lyrics in 'Your Eyes Tell', 'My Time', 'Stay' and many others; Jungkook has proven time and time again his great talent in music-making. Big Hit's producer Pdogg previously mentioned about Jungkook being good in making melodies, and as J-hope said regarding 'Your Eyes Tell'; "I think Jungkook is a genius."
