Record Maker BTS Jimin has broken a new record as his solo video became the most liked video of a South Korean individual on Tiktok with over 9 million likes.
Earlier on September 25, the same video became the most viewed video by a Korean individual on the platform and still remained as one with more than 74 million views. It amazingly outranked the previous record holder and has snatched the most liked video by a Korean on the world’s largest short video sharing site.
Jimin made these awesome records through a video which he uploaded on BTS’s official Tiktok channel on April 18th of him dancing to Boy with Luv, using the funny bobblehead filter. The video captioned as “shall we raise our excitement before seeing BangBangCon #AllOvertheWorldBANGBANGCON #BANGBANGCON #2HeadFigureParty #IPreparedADance #JIMIN”.
The video shows Jimin’s dancing to their one of the most popular hit looking infectiously fun enough to draw more than 74 million views, 9 million hearts, 184.1K comments and 188K shares.
Jimin still holds the record of second most viewed celebrity on Tiktok as the site users have checked and watched videos through his hashtag #jimin 20 Billion times. Jimin has shared some few contents on BTS’s channel but his unique hashtag also includes various videos prepared and shared by countless users from around the world through the influences of the King of Kpop.
Lastly, Jimin’s solo song “Filter” is the most used BTS solo song audio clip on Tiktok. “Filter” has been used as background music (BGM) on 234.6K videos. It is the most used BGM on Tiktok among all solo songs of BTS.
It is noteworthy that King of Kpop Jimin has dominated this platform despite not having a personal account.
In other news, Jimin’s solo song “Filter” has now reached 98 million streams on Spotify. This latest Jimin’s hit from MOTS:7 album maintains its strength and global popularity as shown from its consistent high Spotify streams especially after Jimin’s excellent live performance of the song during MOTS ON:E concerts.
Congrats King Jimin🥳
