YG's new project 'My Major is Hip Hop' has reportedly been put on hold.
According to a report by 'Sports Donga' on October 3, the project has been put on hold after a discussion with broadcasting companies. As a result, the program has yet to air even though filming has ended.
According to officials, the ongoing controversies involving YG Entertainment artists has significantly affected the program.
'My major is Hip Hop' is a program aiming to find talented rappers by visiting hip-hop clubs at famous universities. The show is produced by PD Lee Sang-Yoon of Mnet's 'Produce 101' and 'Show Me the Money'. Among the producing artists (mentors) on the show are WINNER's Song Min Ho, Paloalto, Zion.T, Okasian, and Coogie.

It wouldn't just be because of the YG scandals. The Produce shows being investigated would also play a big part in not wanting to air a talent show just now.
