BTS wins two awards at MTV VMAs and is nominated for BreakTudo Awards and Nickelodeon MPN 2019 in Brazil

On the evening of August 26, MTV held their annual VideoMusic Awards at the Prudential Center in New Jersey. BTS was nominated for numerous categories at MTV Video Music Awards and took home two awards.
With Sebastian Maniscalco hosting, the 2018 VMAs hit the Prudential Center on Monday (August 26) and saw everyone from Taylor Swift to Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello, Miley Cyrus to Tana Mongeau to VMA Vanguard Award winner Missy Elliott in attendance.
BTS won with their "Boy With Luv" (featuring Halsey) Music Video in the brand new "Best K-pop" Category. The MV competed with "Kill This Love" (BLACKPINK), "Tempo" (EXO), "Who Do You Love?" (Monsta X featuring French Montana), "Regular" (NCT 127) and "Cat & Dog" ( TXT).
BTS also won in the Best Group category beating out BLACKPINK, Jonas Brothers, Backstreet Boys, and more.
But for ARMY, just one prize is not enough, as its fandom mobilizes to vote in various awards around the world, the group competes in three additional award shows - BreakTudo Awards, Nickelodeon My Nick Awards, and Young Brazilian Award.

I'm happy to see BTS being appreciated internationally. This year they have won the same number of domestic and international awards and for certifications from various countries. ARMYs work hard during voting to make sure that BTS win 🤝
