ADDICTION Entertainment has announced through an Instagram post that all members of their rookie girl group, Yellow Bee, have left the company and that they would introduce new members in late June.
Yellow Bee debuted as a five-member group in November of 2017 with the single "Hiccup", with a member lineup consisting of Rozy, Berry, Boyeon, Seona, and Somee. The group had its first comeback in July of 2018, with the single "If you love me". After this comeback, however, Rozy and Boyeon left the group. The company by that time had announced that they would open up international auditions to find a new Yellow Bee member, ahead of comeback.
Here is the announcement in English, as written by ADDICTION Entertainment:
" Hello #AddictionEntertainment.
I will make an official announcement. First of all, I tell my fans
that I'm sorry. Non-existing Yellow Bee members New members will be
back in late June 2019. We are sorry for the change of members, but
existing members have withdrawn with agreement with the company. New
members have been practicing hard since last year. We will be opening
one by one next week. The correct disclosure of the changed members is
available through the June Music Video Teaser. I look forward to more
beautiful and beautiful appearance. Please expect a lot of third album
Yellow Bee Pretty much, please. Thank you ~ :) ."
Might as well change the name, what fans are they planning to retain? Lol.. Or do they want to save the money they already spent on merch, logo design etc
