Actress Ra Mi Ran was asked to comment on the recent controversy surrounding Jung Joon Young and Seungri's chatroom. 

At the press conference for Ra Mi Ran's movie 'Girl Cops' on May 2, the actress responded to questions about the distribution of illegal hidden camera footage of women, saying, "There's been a few reports of digital sexual crimes since last year. It's our story. It made me think that we've finally started to pay attention to it." She continued, "It involves celebrities, so a lot of focus has been on it. Even before this though, it just wasn't brought to light. I've heard of stories of women being contacted with questions like 'Isn't this you?' when it comes to hidden camera videos." 

Ra Mi Ran also said of the movie, "It's a fun movie. You'll watch it without any serious thought, but when you leave... We're lighthearted in it, but I hope viewers don't just watch it lightly."

'Girl Cops' starring Ra Mi Ran and Lee Sung Kyung premieres on May 9 KST.
