2019 has already seen many amazing debuts but as we are only five months in the year, there are still many amazing and powerful debuts to come. Let's take a look at 6 of the most anticipated upcoming debuts to look out for! 

1. Somi

Fans have been waiting a really, really long time for Somi to finally make a debut and the time has finally come. Since her time of 'Produce 101' and I.O.I, the singer has been mostly making appearances on various variety shows and even debuted in a temporary group, Unnies, for a short period. We are excited to see Somi finally get a chance to show us everything she has when she makes her debut under YG’s Black Label this May!

2. Banana Culture's new Girl Group

Nothing much has been confirmed about Banana Culture’s new girl group except for the fact that they will be debuting in 2019. They have posted a few dance covers of popular songs on their Youtube channel but we can’t wait for them to finally drop some original content and to see the girls make their debut! In the group, people will recognize Kim Nayoung who won many hearts during her time on 'Produce 48'!

3) CUBE Entertainment’s new boy group

Another highly anticipated group would be Cube’s new boy group which is also set to debut this year. In this group, the confirmed lineup already includes former Wanna One member, Lai Kuan Lin and his label mate who appeared on 'Produce 101' with him, Yoo Seonho. Many fans still hold the video of the two of them dancing to Trouble Maker on the show and are so excited to see the two close friends finally make their debut in this new boy group together. Also rumored to be in the group is Cho Woo Chan who wowed everyone with his amazing performance on 'Show Me The Money'!

4) Happyface Next Boys (HNB)

H Next Boys or Happyface Next Boys is an upcoming 9-member project group that was introduced in May 2017 and will be debuting this year. The lineup for this upcoming group is filled with incredibly talented individuals. The winner of 'Mixnine', Woo Jinyoung, also known for his iconic line on 'Produce 101', “Woo Jinyoung mitcheoji” will be making his debut alongside former 'Produce 101' contestant, vocal king Park Woodam. Also in the group are Jo Yonggeun and Kim Hyunsoo who placed at 25th and 14th on 'Mixnine' and 'Under Nineteen' contestants Kosuke and Kim Jungwoo. Won Hyunsik, Kim Junhyeong, and Jung Yoojun will also be making their debut through this group and fans are so happy that all the boys will finally have a platform to showcase their talent to the world!

5) AB6ix

Many people still remember the iconic performance of “Welcome to My Hollywood” made by the Brand New Music trainees, Youngmin, Donghyun, Woojin and Daehwi when they auditioned on the show 'Produce 101'. The four talented boys are finally making their debut with label mate Woong (who is known for his appearance in the Stray Kids Survival Show when he was in YG) and they even filmed a polished version of the song recently. Mark your calendars for May 22, because these boys are going to have an explosive debut on that day and fans cannot be more excited!

6) Treasure 13

There was no way this list would be complete without the mention of YG’s 2 upcoming boy groups that will come together to form Treasure 13. The first group TREASURE will have 7 members, So Junghwan, Kim Junkyu, Park Jeongwoo, Choi Hyunsuk, Bang Yedam, Haruto and Yoon Jaehyuk. As for the second group, their name has not been confirmed but the line up includes Park Jihoon, Kim Doyoung, Mashiho, Ha Yoonbin, Yoshinori and Asahi. In 'Treasure Box,' YG already made us all fall in love with the 13 members that will finally be making their comeback and we are so excited to see what bops they will come up with!
