YG Entertainment denied knowing anything about Seungri's manager 'Mr. Ji' being, accused of involvements with 'Burning Sun'.
Previously, according to 'News Desk', the police revealed that 30 million won (~$27,000) of 'Burning Sun' funds were paid periodically to Seungri's manager Mr. Ji every month.
The label said, "As we are not involved at all with Seungri's personal businesses, we had no idea of Mr. Ji's position in Yuri Holdings or that he was receiving separate pay from business related to Seungri." YG Entertainment confirmed that Mr. Ji was Seungri's manager when he was in YG, and he was paid by YG for his managerial services, but that they had no idea of his other income.
YG Entertainment said, "We also just learned of it after it became a problem. Mr. Ji has also been processed out of the label along with the termination of Seungri's contract."
Blah. Can't trust statements by this clown of a company.
