The identity of "Madam Lin", an alleged foreign investor caught up in Seungri's 'Burning Sun' club scandal, has been revealed.
According to Taiwanese media outlets like ET Today and Mirror Media, Madam Lin is known in Taiwan as an extremely wealthy woman who amassed her fortune through a sports gambling website. It's reported she runs the gambling website in the Philippines, allowing Chinese gamblers to play through a website, and she's said to have earned approximately $12.3 billion USD in the past 5 years. Madam Lin is known among the wealthy circles in Taiwan as a huge fan of luxury goods as well as a big fan of former Big Bang member Seungri and G-Dragon. She's also reported to own 3 luxury penthouses in South Korea amounting to over $25 million USD.
It's speculated Madam Lin used the 'Burning Sun' club to launder her money by paying multiple times the amount of her bill during her visits and then receiving the difference in a counterfeit deposit bankbook, which was registered under the name of a club promoter. She reportedly invested $880,000 USD in the 'Burning Sun' and holds a 20% share of the club. According to reports, she made her way back to Taiwan following the news of the 'Burning Sun' scandal.

I’m starting to wonder if not only Seungri wanted more money but he craved a leadership role. He got to take the fast track up instead of working hard in the industry
