No controversy can stop YG Entertainment founder Yang Hyun Suk from SNS activities.
Despite tax evasion controversies raised on the 6th, Yang Hyun Suk went back to SNS on the 7th to cheer on Song Baek-gyeong (41) of old-school YG group 1TYM on his next steps in life. He said, "Song Baek Kyoung of 1TYM whom I first met when he was 19 yrs old is now 41 yrs old. I sincerely support the 3rd life challenge of Baek Kyoung."
Netizens reacted harshly and left comments on his SNS saying, "This isn't what we asked. We need you to explain the controversy and whether you own the club or not."
Meanwhile, according to a report by Kuki News on the 6th, Yang Hyun Suk is suspected of having majority ownership of Love Signal (previously Club X) in Mapo-gu, Seoul, that Seungri previously promoted as the club owner. According to reports, Yang Hyun Suk owns 70% while his brother Yang Min Suk owns 30%. The club is suspected of tax evasion as it's registered as a "restaurant" instead of "club" therefore gets taxed a lower %.
When asked for a statement, YG Entertainment said, "It's not a matter we can speak out about at the moment. We don't know when we can give you an answer."
