In "[Issue Analysis] Is Seungri really Burning Sun's Body? Missing the ball." Culture critic Ha Jae-geun criticized SBS "The It's Know" for raising " conspiracy theories without any grounds or specifics" and pointed out that:
" Burning Sun's equity structure shows the hotel (cheonwon industry) accounted for 42% but the show only focused on Yuri Holdings which accounts for 20%. If someone in a company has 42% stake, then usually he or she is the real owner" - Ha Jae-geun.
Furthermore, it is reported, contrary to what they stated, "Cheonwon Industry owns 42% of Burning Sun,co-CEO Mr. Lee of BS, who owns 8%, is Cheonwon's Board Director and actually owns 50% of the company. Mr. Lee reported regularly about BS sales to both Le Meridien and Cheonwon" -Club Burning Sun and Le Meridien Hotel's 'Suspicious Deal'
Among others, MBC also raised doubt, " In reality, The true nature of burning sun case isn’t actually Seungri and it’s the criminal charges but since all the media is focused on Seungri, the true nature will get buried. And if it comes out in the end that is no suspicion on Seungri, shouldn’t we think something went wrong? Since Seungri is a celebrity, everyone is focused on him.” - MBC 100 minutes discussion.
KKT chat logs are confirmed as evidence. However, the police have not been able to confirm any suspicion/allegations toward Seungri using them. Police Investigation Continues
" We need to keep all possibilities open and investigate Burning Sun itself...If the issue of Seungri and YGE continues to be on the forefront, the truth may be buried" - Ha Jae-geun.

They had tried before, unsuccessfully, to get people to pay attention to the growing number of hidden camera cases that were been swept under the rug. For example where are the stories about the recent 1,600 tourist who have victimized by hidden cameras in major hotels in SK? Or the AirBNB hidden camera cases in SK recently? Also where is the stories of the brave women who filed the original cases against Mr. Kim for sexual harassment. Why did the behavior of the police negate their filed complaint since it was already proven that Mr. Kim was a serial harasser with two previous complaints not related to BS against him. Why was he given a platform by SBS to plead his ongoing case in the public to taint any possible jury or court proceeding. If all the issues that was raised by tipsters about BS are true shouldn’t they be going after the people ACTUALLY involved in the day to day management of the club and whose responsibility it was to check on the well being and safety of its patrons.
