I agree that if the allegations are true Seungri is straight up trash. But are we any less trash if we speak up about those kind of stuff only when celebrities are involved?
Seungri, a well-knownface in the entertainment industry (and in the Korean one, we know how much more harsh the rules are) got involved in a criminal business, knowing what the outcome will be if he got caught, yet he couldn't care less.
Now - imagine how many "regular" people are committing the same felony (or even worse) given the fact that they don't have some kind of a special career or reputation to protect. I bet there's thousand for them.
Sure, call him out, make sure he gets what he deserves. But it's more than obvious that the media is painting him like the only terrible guy out there, simply due to the fact that he's a public figure. What's even worse is that the media is doing it because they know that people will buy it. At the end, they're the ones profiting off it. But what about you guys? How many of you will spend the time to pay as much attention to these type of problems in the future if there isn't a famous face involved?
You trashed Seungri online, and you should've, because he must not get away with it. But how much effort are you going to put in something like that again when the allegations aren't directed towards let's say another idol? Will you try to make a change and raise awareness so that you can somehow help prevent stuff like that happening in the future again? I hope you will, but let's be real in here - most of you won't.
You are delusional, you're making assumptions because you're hurt that your idol has turned out to be a trashy, terrible individual, and this entire article is garbage. Swing and a miss, people like you are the reason so many people think VIPs are just blindly supporting Seungri and don't care what happened. It's pretty immature, and a pathetic reach, for you to say that people don't care about rapists and abusers if they aren't celebrities. Literally everyone keeps saying they want to know who the rest of the culprits are, whether they are celebrities, politicians, or people we've never heard of, because we want justice for the victims of these heinous crimes. I don't know how old you are, but you've got a lot of growing up to do kid.
