Big Hit Entertainment responded to the report about founder Bang Si Hyuk selling his equity.

On March 25, an exclusive report by the Korea Economic Daily stated Bang cashed out $57 million after selling 7.82% of his equity in Big Hit Entertainment.

A rep of the agency denied the report to Segye Ilbo, and stated, "The report is not true," and added, "We cannot confirm the details on the matter."

Meanwhile, Big Hit Entertainment artist BTS is gearing up for their comeback with 'Map of the Soul: Persona' in April.
