Kang Daniel breaks Instagram record, becoming the fastest account to gain 1M followers

On January 2, 2019, Kang Daniel (@thisisdaniel_k) gained 1 million followers in just 10 hours and 59 minutes after creating his account, breaking the record previously held by Pope Francis (@franciscus). Pope Francis had reached 1 million followers after 12 hours of creating his account.
