On September 17, popular web drama series 'A-Teen', produced and created by Playlist, came to an end at 24 episodes.
Lead actress Shin Ye Eun, whose popularity skyrockets thanks to her role as Do Hana in 'A-Teen', sat down with media outlets for the web drama's ending. Shin Ye Eun, who was a JYP girl group trainee, recently signed an official contract with JYP Entertainment as an actress. About her career decision, Shin Ye Eun shared, "My grandfather is a theatrical actor, so I got into acting early. My older sister majored in classical music, so I followed in her footsteps (studying classical string instruments), but ahead of my high school entrance exams, I began to rethink what I wanted to do. In my heart, I knew my dream that I discovered when I was young, so I chose acting."
Shin Ye Eun also gave her thoughts on signing as an official JYPE label actress, with, "I think I am receiving more aid from [the company] now but it still doesn't feel real yet. I still feel like a trainee, and from here on, I'll continue to work hard with the heart of a trainee!"
Finally, to a question about the possibility of 'A-Teen' season 2, Shin Ye Eun answered, "There isn't anything confirmed, but if season 2 were to happen, of course I'd be there in a heartbeat. The 6 of us cast members want season 2 as well, and even if that doesn't work out, we always say we want to work together again in a different production."
