Kang Sung Hoon's reactions and comments in a past video to his fans is causing controversy for the star.
The Sechskies member is currently under fire for allegedly embezzling funds from his fan club donations, and on September 12, a past video of the singer made headlines. In a video message to his fan club Hoony World, Kang Sung Hoon thanks his fans for supporting him and ask them to look forward to Sechskies' concert.
However, some netizens have taken issue with his reaction and comments concerning a passing fruit truck that honked and advertised fruits. Kang Sung Hoon was visibly uncomfortable as he commented, "The car is passing by and honking. I apologize. Don't misunderstand. This is Cheongdam-dong." He added trailing off, "It's not like this is a marketplace... I just came out of a hairstylist shop in Cheongdam-dong too. I'm going to go record a song at YG Entertainment now. I'll record well. Look forward to it." Cheongdam-dong is known as a wealthy area of Seoul, and some netizens are criticizing Kang Sung Hoon's allegedly classist comments.
He also expressed annoyance when a child passed by, calling him an "ahjusshi" or "mister." It seems Kang Sung Hoon didn't appreciate the comment on his age as he stated, "He's calling me ahjusshi, right. My mood isn't good right now."
Netizens commented, "Can fruit trucks not be in Cheongdam-dong," "He's the one filming on the street, so why is he getting mad at passing vehicles," and more.
