The RIAA certifies gold to digital singles that have sold 500,000 Units. Each permanent digital download counts as 1 Unit, while 150 on-demand audio and video streams count as 1 Unit.
In February, "DNA" became the second song by BTS to be certified gold, following the group's very first gold-certified track "MIC Drop". Most recently in August, it was announced that "Fake Love" has also been certified gold.
