The #IDOLCHALLENGE wasn't started by BTS's j-hope?
According to Big Hit Entertainment, the #IDOLCHALLENGE may have started with dedicated South Africa ARMYs! On August 30, the agency posted a notice regarding the #IDOLCHALLENGE, thanking fans for their active participation in promoting and sharing the unique dance moves to BTS's "IDOL", inspired by traditional Korean dance.
While the origins of the #IDOLCHALLENGE remain a mystery, the BTS members and ARMYs have been spreading the challenge around on Twitter vivaciously for the past week, spreading the energy all around the world. It seems Big Hit Entertainment has decided to create a promotional video involving the successful challenge, and in order to do so, those who have participated in the challenge so far must send their consent over to Big Hit!
