Comedian Yoo Se Yoon and Super Junior's Shindong are protesting the ban on their new song, "My Butthole Is Strong".
Back on July 2, the three major broadcast stations KBS, SBS, and MBC announced that Yoo Se Yoon's new song, "My Butthole Is Strong", failed to pass the broadcast evaluation due to "vulgar expression".
"My Butthole Is Strong" is an EDM remake of the children's song titled "Poop Song".
In response to the rejection, Yoo Se Yoon (the singer of the song) and Shindong (the director of the MV) started a protest.
On July 14, Yoo Se Yoon, Shindong, and new girl group Pink Fantasy marched the streets of Mapo district with the signs, reading, "Please give permission. 'My Butthole Is Strong', a remake of a children's song, was deemed unfit for broadcast. Please understand and give permission. If that's difficult then please just listen to the song." Another sign showed the definition of dong-ggo (butthole), proving it's a pure Korean word used to "cutely express anus".
In the streets, Yoo Se Yoon vented frustration, and shouted, "Permit my ddong-ggo!"
