Did you know that director Bong Joon Ho's 2013 hit film 'Snowpiercer' is being remade into a U.S. television series?
On July 24, it was revealed that the U.S. TV series remake of 'Snowpiercer' will be broadcast worldwide via 'Netflix' for international viewers (except U.S.A and China), including viewers in Korea. In the U.S, the series will air through major broadcasting station TNT.
'Snowpiercer' by Bong Joon Ho starring Song Kang Ho, Chris Evans, Tilda Swinton, Go Ah Sung, and more tells the story of a dystopian society where mankind resides on a moving train. The U.S. TV series remake will be co-produced by Tomorrow Studios, Turner's Studio T, and CJ E&M; starring Jennifer Connelly, Daveed Diggs, Susan Park, etc. In addition, the film's original production team including director Bong Joon Ho, director Park Chan Wook, producer Lee Tae Hoon, and producer Choi Doo Ho will participate in the remake drama series as contributors.
